DECICE Consortium Meeting Vienna 06.–08.11.2023
Over the course of three days, DECICE hosted an intensive hands-on workshop for partners collaborating on an EU research project. The agenda covered technical training sessions on topics like containers, Kubernetes, and KubeEdge for building and deploying workloads across heterogeneous environments. Partners engaged in hands-on hackathons to port components of two use cases involving drones and vehicles, interfacing them with the project’s DECICE API, digital twins, monitoring tools, AI models, and infrastructure. The workshop provided valuable knowledge transfer and collaboration opportunities to accelerate the project’s development and integrate components across work packages. Through technical presentations, hands-on exercises, hackathons, and open discussions, the partners made significant progress toward the overall initiative during the immersive workshop. Special thanks to SYNYO for the organization of this event in Vienna and HUAWEI und KTH for preparing the agenda.
